The Latvian gallery of contemporary art ArtAlea, together with Natalia Bataraga, an art expert, fashion historian, image maker and columnist of L’Officiel Baltics, is launching a set of lectures on art called “History of Art: From Ancient Egypt to the 20th Century”. The session consisting of 16 lectures will run from November to March, including an extended program on the milestones in the development of art.
From October 8 to 26, Rietumu Bank's exhibition hall will host Dmitry Lavrentyev's solo exhibition “Educing the Archetype”, organized by art platform artalea.com, which will feature paintings created in recent years.
The contemporary art exhibition “Heartbeat Gallery” by ArtAlea artist Anete Kalnina ended in August, but the exposition is still running. Everyone interested has an opportunity to enjoy the art works based on the symbiosis of three dominant motives — light, lightness and heart until the end of the year.
