In Riga, an ART lecture class of an art expert and fashion historian from Moscow will open
The Latvian gallery of contemporary art ArtAlea, together with Natalia Bataraga, an art expert, fashion historian, image maker and columnist of L’Officiel Baltics, is launching a set of lectures on art called “History of Art: From Ancient Egypt to the 20th Century”. The session consisting of 16 lectures will run from November to March, including an extended program on the milestones in the development of art.
On November 5, at the Monika Centrum hotel (21 Elizabetes str.), the set of lectures will be opened with a lecture “Ancient Egypt: "The Pursuit of Eternity”, within which Natalia will give an extended excursus about the origin of art in one of the earliest civilizations.
