New artists on the ArtAlea platform
One of the key goals of the gallery of contemporary art ArtAlea is to support talented artists from all over Europe. And we are happy to present modern painters, whose art-works are exhibited now on our web-platform.
Madara Gulbis is a member of the Latvian Artist’s Union since 1997. Madara had won the Culture Foundation of Latvia for the exhibition "Wild" in 2018.
Artist’s motto: «An external impulse creates a feeling; the mind allows you to experience that. The mind tells the experience and story is born. But a painting should contain more than a story. It should across it as a symbol and a sign».
Artur Akopyan is a member of the Latvian Artist’s Union. The artist got the Riga City Council Prize ''Riga in Contemporary Art" for the best work in 2000. Artur actively organizes personal exhibitions in Denmark, Austria and Latvia.

Eduard Dubrovsky has graduated Latvian Academy of Arts. During his creative activity, Eduard has organized three solo exhibitions in Riga. The artist says: «I have turned to art because it is a subjectively natural process. With art I want to point out what is, through my prism of perception and discernment. A process with countless facets in constant motion».
