Art must thrill

About

I am fascinated by sites where history can be sensed – medieval cloisters, dimmed cathedrals, echoes of hallways, where space, depth, perspective can be seen and felt along with awe-inspiring presence of time. The shimmer of lights and patterns reveal, obscure or emphasize space.

Light and time interest me in different aspects. I observe natural formations of bones, seen through the unemotional light of x-ray, enjoy the possibility to stop the moment, to reveal invisible. I observe correlations in man-made and natural structures, and the relative meaning of time in relation to light and matter.
